We aimed straight to south-east, since start midnight the wind will build up from the south, 20 knot with 6ft of wave and lumpy, windy and uncomfortable passage along north shore.

Heading Sounth East to get accross the lake before the "rollers" come in from the forecasted 20 kn wind from the south.
