June 8 - In the water, sea trials and reassembly

Well finally we are a boat again .... in the water with a new engine installed, tested and sea trials ... reaching hull speed at 2500 RPM and a maximum RPM of 3200. We will stay with this propeller pitch for the engine breakin and see about changing it higher next haul out. Currently the prop is pitched 18" X 16.6" (that is 18" diameter X 16.6" in pitch). Will post pictures tomorrow.
