Yey..we got Internet Connection, time to share stories and pictures..

Our day busy with dinghying from one place to another, snorkeling, swimming or meeting people..and sundown, watching the sunset and time to blow the conch.. Some of the boats that we met today include: Greenstone, Summer of 42, Painkiller, Georgia-E, Messenger, Endurence and Marco (single handing from Montreal, boat name unknown).

I've had my swimming, need to be dry now..

"I don't have my swimming yet, my master is still inside.. they call it socializing ... I think it is just drinking and chatting.."

How many times I took a picture of this gorgeous Bougenville..now with Karen, the admiral from Georgia-E..

Snorkeling at "The Grotto, Thunderbolt" ... they filmed part of the James Bond movie there ... Bond escaped from this underground cave by being lifted out of the cave by a hellicopter ... was a small model as the cave was not that big ...

... was a great place for snorkling ... everybody knows the good time for snorkeling, at the low slack tide .. easier to get in the cave.

From Big Major Spot we dinghying to Sampson Cay, in one of the cut, on top of the rock there is a cross, something like to remind you..God is here to protect you..

Tuesday..happy hour in Samson Cay, almost every meals and drink for $2, what a deal..

Quiet night..companied by the moonlight..

Another beautiful day in the neighbourhood..the captain is starting the day, visiting other boat..

We are mooring in Cambridge Cay, every boater comes to this spot knows Max, helping his master to welcome boater..

You see...dancing on the beach is not bad at all..

the admiral was tired ... wanted somewhere to sit a spell ... take some wight off her feet ... hmmm ...

Just hanging out on the cliff ...

... not sure if this is a new tradition ... but adding our layer to this pile of rocks ... out on the end of the island at the cut from the Exuma Sound on the east to the Exuma Banks on the western side.

What can be said about another sunset in the Bahamas ... except that a joke around here is ... "oh, it is just another f**king beautiful beach ..." well I guess the same could be said about the sunsets!

You will see and say: Wow..this dolphin is dancing..awesome!

One morning we woke up and hear splash on the starboard. We rushed on deck to see what is about..and hey there.. this creature jump out off the water, did flip and dove in the water, jump out again and turned to us..and did that for few times..John rushed to the channel 16 called George E and Painkiller to let them know about this atraction..Painkiller came out their boat and got to see the dancing dolphin..

Second visit to Staniel Cay, we bump into same people all through our travel

We anchored almost at the same spot, further south close to the beach. Dinghy to Sampson Cay, walking on the sand bank at low tide.. beautiful neighborhood ...

From Georgetown back to Black Point

We had a few nice days in Emerald Bay, Georgetown, sun down in upper room with all kind of snacks..interneting..pool .. it's fun

Grand Isle Resort, we had lunch and enjoyed the scenery around the pool side restaurant ...

and then there was the beach ... shared with the GeorgeTown Sandle Resort ...

Here is the Sandles Resort Pool ... the beach was closed to swimming due to weather ... so everyone was in the pool.

The Manger of the Grand Isle took us on a tour of the facility ...

An Australian Shepherd ... beautiful dog ... loved to fetch a ball .. over and over and over ... I got tired and had to retreat to the boat for a rest and a beer or two .... 

... but with rope work to do ... little rest for the Captain ...  while underway north to Black Point we get some repairs done to the lines ... these currents and surges take their toll on the dock and gound tackle etc etc ...

Here we are in a local "watering hole" in Black Point ... Happy Hour .. can't walk past that! Especially as we ramped up to the celebration of the Admiral's Birthday.

We had reserved at Lorraine's for dinner with Lobster and Seafood Platter for the rest of us .... Nora really enjoyed Loraine's Lobster ....

Lorainne's son, Joshua, was on hand to entertain ... quite the little gentleman at only 16 months!

Nora and her chocolate cake ... great cake!

You'd think that all we do is eat ... eat ... and eat ... and we are loosing weight ... hmmm!

This is one of th elocal tourist traps ... Garden of Eden ... here is a Papaya tree ... some good looking papayas in a few weeks ... wish we were going to be here at harvest time.

The owner was not there at the time, but we went around and admired the local driftwood art scattered around the property. Note the coral/limestone bed rock and the vegetation that seems to thrive in the smallest cracks and small crevaces of sand and soil.

One families dream house ... a couple live here 6 months of the year ... he is the local "Mr Fixit" and gets called to the town when the reverse osmosis unit fails ... or someones freezer stops working ... that is the way here ... you have to be handy as there are many experts ... just not that many people who reapply know how to fix it!



This is the south anchorage at Black Point that is very protected from any winds with a north component ... there were about 20 boats there ...
